About LoudSauce
LoudSauce is the first crowdfunded media buying platform that lets you spread the word about ideas that matter.
Our vision is to transform the medium of advertising from one that primarily drives consumption to one of civic participation. What if we had more power to shape which messages were promoted on our streets? What if our billboards inspired us toward a future we actually wanted?
Why advertising is worth funding
Many inspiring projects and organizations have limited awareness and poor marketing. We believe that crowdfunded media buying can bridge this marketing gap by reaching new audiences beyond our social networks.
Our hypothesis is that funding advertising maximizes your individual impact by reaching completely new communities for your favorite causes. By bringing unexpected ideas and creative solutions to mainstream channels, we will ultimately build momentum for some of the best work happening in the world.

How does LoudSauce work?
- Browse campaigns and rewards, and choose an ad that matters to you.
- Choose your level of funds, and help buy media space in places like billboards and national TV.
- Spread the word via Facebook + Twitter, and then tune in or drive by as your ad runs.
- Get results on your impact online, get ready for the next campaign (or submit your own).

Why the name LoudSauce?
Crowdsourced from the beginning, LoudSauce was the winner of a naming contest hosted through the NameThis.com community. The name LoudSauce won by a landslide and resonated heavily with our early LoudSauce supporters (and was actually proposed by one of Colin’s clients at the time Dan Goodall of Nokia).
In throwing the question of our company name to the commons, we were forced to question our own assumptions about the project, refine our brief, and ultimately come up with a better service. LoudSauce is that little extra sweetness that amplifies your ideas to the next level.
