This Privacy Policy explains the commitment LoudSauce (called “LoudSauce”, “us” or “we” in this policy) has to protecting your privacy and your private information. LoudSauce will never voluntarily sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties, including but not limited to, media entities or companies supported through this site. We also promise to keep your information private unless we’re required by law to do otherwise. By registering on LoudSauce.com, you agree we can collect your name, email address, and your photo. Also, when you register, you are opting in to periodic updates emails from LoudSauce. You may opt-out of these emails at any time. The option to unsubscribe is included in each email or you can email webmaster@loudsauce.com and ask to unsubscribe. You may manage also manage your preferences clicking on your settings once logged into the site.

During the pledging process, you will have the option to use your photograph as a potential funder at a certain reward level of a LoudSauce campaign. Should you choose to share your photograph, LoudSauce reserves the right to post your photo on LoudSauce.com and in the actual advertisement to acknowledge whom the media space is “funded by.” LoudSauce will not use the image elsewhere without your consent. You can tell us you don’t want your photo used by emailing us at webmaster@loudsauce.com. By submitting a photo to us, you are guaranteeing that you have the right(s) necessary to grant us permission to use that photo. Please keep in mind that LoudSauce.com is a family website, so only submit photos of you, and which are suitable for viewing by everyone.

Your account on LoudSauce.com is password-protected. We recommend you do not divulge your password to anyone. LoudSauce will never ask you for your password or personal information in an unsolicited email or phone call. Also, please remember to sign out of your account when you’re done using LoudSauce.com and close your browser window to help ensure that others can’t access your personal information or account.

We use the information we collect from you, in accordance with this agreement, to make sure your funds go to the right campaign, to improve our marketing efforts, and to analyze what we do and how we do it so we can learn how to do it even better. Sometimes we may use your information to deliver information and/or marketing to you that we think matches your interests. LoudSauce is in the business of facilitating crowd funded media campaigns, but we don’t actually collect any money from you. For that, we use Amazon Payments who processes all monetary transactions on LoudSauce. The financial and monetary information you submit to participate in a LoudSauce campaign will only be available to Amazon Payments, not LoudSauce. We suggest you get familiar with Amazon Payments’ terms of service and privacy policy here. We think it’s great, or we wouldn’t use them, but Amazon Payments’ policies are beyond our control.

LoudSauce is only responsible for LoudSauce.com. There may be links to other website on LoudSauce.com. If you follow any links which remove you from LoudSauce.com, policies other than this one will govern your activity. We suggest you read those other policies so you know how those sites are collecting and/or using your information.

All LoudSauce campaigns, including those suggested by our users, will require thorough review and consent by the company being represented prior to being posted onLoudSauce.com. LoudSauce will not fundraise for any campaign without formal consent and authorization by the company.

Any personal information or content that you voluntarily disclose in public areas of LoudSauce.com becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by other users. You should exercise caution before disclosing your personal information via these public venues. No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Therefore, while we will try to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

This site is intended for all users. It is LoudSauce’s policy that individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to use LoudSauce independently. However, we have no way of distinguishing the age of individuals who access our website, so if a child as provided us with personally identifying information without parental or guardian consent, the parent or guardian should contact us to remove the information.
